Climbing at Zatzun Tunnel

General

Zatzun Tunnel offers spectacular climbing above emerald colored waters. It has about twenty routes ranging from 5.7 to 5.11. Routes here are roughly 15 meters longs and located a stone's throw from the road. Two distinct sides make it easy to follow the much-needed shade. Unfortunately, the north side is only accessable at low tide. This black colored cliff offers square cut holds, that couldn't be better suited for climbing. Multy-pitch climbing comming soon to this site.

Getting There

From Kedena Circle: Drive 68 KM North on Highway 58; the ocean will be on your left side the whole way. After exiting the second tunnel, pull into the gravel parking lot on the left side of the road.

Hoofing it: From the car walk south; the ocean will be on your right side. The obvious cliff 200 feet in front of you is your destination.
