Usa Beach, the number one climbing destination in Okinawa, is located on the north end of the island. This area hosts approximately thirty routes ranging from 5.6 to 5.14, with an average length of twenty meters. An extremely casual approach to these routes will not warm you up for the steep crimps you will encounter. Come here ready to crimp, very few holds offer more then finger tips.
From Kedena Circle: Drive 74 KM North on Highway 58; the ocean will be on your left side the whole way. 3.3 KM after the third tunnel turn left. Drive 200 meters to the second right turn. Follow the road to the bottom of the hill; a parking lot will be on the right hand side.
Hoofing it: From the car, walk toward the ocean and turn left on the beach. Walk to the end of the beach. (Approximately half a km) The ocean will be on your side. The obvious cliffs are you destination.
